Helping practices to be their best.

Better Medical Continues to Expand its Presence in South Australia

Better Medical, a doctor-led owner and operator of high-quality general practice clinics, has acquired a second medical practice in Adelaide’s southern suburbs.

Aberfoyle Park Medical Centre was established by Dr Terry Rose more than three decades ago and has grown to comprise seven doctors, including a GP Registrar. The clinic is co-located with psychology, physiotherapy, and pathology services in a mostly residential area less than five minutes from Better Medical’s Flagstaff Hill Medical Centre.

The clinic has a solid reputation within the local community, and in 2016, they were crowned the inaugural winner of the National Kidney Health Australia Award for Excellence in the Early Detection and Management of Chronic Kidney Disease.

Dr Rose says he is excited to join Better Medical’s group of practices.

“I'm excited to join Better Medical’s group of practices. The organisation has an ethos of offering a quality medical service, and I know our doctors and staff will be well supported in maintaining the high standards of medical care they aspire to. Personally, while I will continue at the clinic as a Practitioner and Supervisor of GP Registrars, I do look forward to Better Medical offering the extra administrative support that will allow me to concentrate on my clinical practice,” said Dr Rose.

Having recently expanded Better Medical’s footprint in South Australia with the acquisition of Hyde and Partners, CEO Jeremy Stones is pleased to welcome Aberfoyle Park Medical Centre to its growing business.

“It’s great to have Dr Rose and the doctors and staff of this high quality clinic join Better Medical. They are focused on providing friendly and professional care to the community, and they’re certainly a good fit for Better Medical,” says Mr Stones.

The acquisition of Aberfoyle Park Medical Centre increases Better Medical’s ownership to 30 clinics across South Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania.
