Better Medical Welcomes Leading SA Practice Hyde and Partners

Better Medical is continuing to expand its presence in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, recently announcing the acquisition of highly regarded GP practice, Hyde and Partners.

Better Medical CEO, Jeremy Stones says he is pleased to welcome Gawler-based Hyde and Partners to its group of practices.

“Hyde and Partners has a long-standing history in their local community, and we’re excited that they’ve chosen to join Better Medical. Their practice is a great example of the high-quality and strong cultured clinics that we seek to partner with, and I look forward to supporting the practice as it continues to thrive,” says Mr Stones.

Co-owner, Dr Anthony Page, says the time was right for Hyde and Partners to join Better Medical.

“We’re proud of our strong history and reputation as a provider of high-quality healthcare to the communities around Gawler and Freeling. Having what we’ve built over many years maintained was important to us as owners, and with Better Medical, we can relax knowing our legacy will continue. We also recognise an organisation of their size has the resources and expertise to guide individual practices such as Hyde and Partners through challenging periods, such that the world is experiencing with COVID-19,” said Dr Page.

Hyde and Partners Medical Centre was established by Dr Geoff Hyde in 1976. Owned by Dr Anthony Page, Dr Michael Brown, Dr Kendra Powell, and Dr Kate Haslam, the practice has grown to comprise 12 doctors and four GP Registrars.

In addition to this primary practice, Hyde and Partners also consult from Wheatsfields residential aged care facility in nearby Freeling.

In December 2019, Better Medical acquired five clinics owned by Integrated Medical Solutions Group in Queensland. This latest acquisition of Hyde and Partners increases Better Medical’s ownership to 29 clinics across South Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania.
